Review integration access regularly

A working connection is not necessarily still needed or correctly scoped. Repository, channel and mailbox ownership can change over time.

How to apply it

Periodically review Taskending company connections. Identify each integration’s purpose, owner, project and provider account. Remove unused connections through an authorized process. Check provider permissions and webhook state separately.

A concrete example

Updates sent to an old team channel may be invisible to the new team. A repository moved to another organization may need renewed authorization. Do not assess the change only by a display name.

What to watch for

Removing a local connection may not delete every provider-side resource. Review GitHub webhooks and application permissions separately. Plan for dependent workflows before revoking access.

How to check the outcome

No connection should have an unknown owner. Verify a representative data flow reaches destinations and recipients appropriate to the current need.
