Use team documents alongside issues
When decisions live only in chat, newcomers repeat the same questions. Team documents hold lasting knowledge while issues track actions.

How to apply it
Keep process rules, a project glossary or setup steps in Taskending team documents. Link relevant documents from issue descriptions. Leave temporary implementation discussion in comments and summarize durable decisions in the document.
A concrete example
The decision about a report’s time zone can live in a team document. WEB-24 links to it while implementing the behavior. A later policy change updates the document and identifies affected tasks separately.
What to watch for
Do not describe the document feature as reproducing all Notion or Confluence capabilities. Check current sharing and formatting limits. Avoid moving customer-specific data into a broadly shared document.
How to check the outcome
A new teammate should reach the correct decision through the link. Identify an authoritative version and owner when old conflicting copies exist.
