Sign in to Taskending with Microsoft
Microsoft sign-in uses a work or school identity. Linking it to an existing Taskending account differs from creating a new account.

How to apply it
If you already have an account, sign in using your current method first. Link Microsoft in personal preferences, then use Microsoft for later sign-ins. This is separate from the company’s Teams channel connection.
A concrete example
The same written email address may exist in both systems. Linking through an authenticated existing session preserves account ownership instead of merging accounts solely because email text matches.
What to watch for
External organizations may require administrator consent. Do not assume personal consumer Microsoft accounts have the same supported scope as work or school accounts. Microsoft sign-in does not imply enterprise SAML or SCIM support.
How to check the outcome
Sign out after linking and verify that Microsoft returns you to the same Taskending user and company. Confirm that your role has not changed.
