How to apply it
Evaluate Taskending’s current Teams connection for assignment, status and comment updates. Check project mapping and the selected channel. Do not assume creating a new issue automatically sends a Teams message; that event has a different current scope.
A concrete example
Changing an assignee can produce a channel update. If creating a record alone produces no message, check supported events before investigating delivery failure. Missing event support and a failed send are separate causes.
What to watch for
Connecting too many projects to one channel increases noise. Issue titles reach the channel audience, so membership is part of the sharing decision. A notification does not replace individual access controls.
How to check the outcome
Inspect an example of each expected event type separately. Record an unsupported event as a product need rather than a delivery defect.
