Invite teammates with the right role

An invitation should give someone the right workspace and necessary authority. Signing in and administering every project are different needs.

How to apply it

Choose the correct work address and role in Taskending membership management. Decide which projects the person needs. After they claim the account and sign in, check access. Provide initial context through an issue or team document.

A concrete example

A developer may need member access to update daily work without administrator privileges. An external customer should be evaluated for customer access rather than an employee role.

What to watch for

Provider acceptance of an invitation email does not prove the person signed in. Do not defer correcting a wrong address or role. Imported unclaimed accounts are not necessarily active users.

How to check the outcome

The person should see the intended company and relevant work, without unnecessary administration or other customers’ records.

Try it in your own workflow.
