What to consider when attaching support files

A screenshot or sample file can explain a defect, but unnecessary data makes review harder and broadens the information being shared.

How to apply it

Respect Taskending’s current 2 MiB per-file limit. Prepare the smallest sample that demonstrates the problem. Remove account or personal details from screenshots and explain what the reviewer should inspect.

A concrete example

A few synthetic rows may reproduce the error without exposing a report containing thousands of customers. Showing the relevant screen region is clearer than sharing an entire desktop.

What to watch for

A file link in an imported Jira issue does not prove the file was copied into Taskending. A new user may lack source-platform access. Evaluate an approved sharing method and access duration separately for larger files.

How to check the outcome

Verify that an authorized recipient can open the attachment and that the description points to the right file. An upload-success message alone is not the full check.
